Well....life around here has been pretty normal. Dakota got a new job. He now works at a college teaching English. He is finishing up his cashier job this week...right now he works a early shift at the Commissary, then comes home and changes super fast and goes off to his college. His college job is only in the evenings. So, he'll have his days and weekends again. ;) Plus he's getting paid twice as much and working half as long. ;)
Bella is doing great in her school. She is learning to read and is doing awesome at it! She can read the first few Bob books and loves it. I also just gave her a first piano lesson today. :) We'll see how that goes...she's a great learner and is excited about the piano, so it'll be fun.
Anyway...I'm rambling.....Lets get to the pictures.....
4th of July. Aren't we cute....in our red, white, and blue?!
Yongsan Family Park.
The tamest wild rabbits ever. (The other rabbit isn't pictured.) We actually touched them (for a split second) before they pulled back. We chased them around for a while then they just went back to their cozy shaded bench. :)
Bella chilling inside a rock.
Picniking down by the Hangang River. Finally, watermelon! Right when watermelon hit the stores it was 20 dollars! Yeah, no kidding...20 dollars for a watermelon! So, we didn't get any until the middle/end of season....when it finally went down to like 8ish dollars. But, it was still good! :)
Our Sunday outing. Picniking and outdoorsy stuff is big in Korea. Also, they do it in style. They always have nice blankets and cool special "picnic" tents. So, of course we wanted to fit in...so we pulled out our regular tent and bed sheet and called it good. :)
Love the look!!
{no comment} :)
It's monsoon season now here in Korea. Kade and Bella both got new cute umbrellas and they were dying to take them out in the rain. :)
Wow....Kade. How wet can you get from 3 inches of water?!? :)
LOL! :)Have a great week!
God bless
