We went to base sometime in early December to see the tree lighting as well as all the rest of the Christmas lights! Kade loved looking at all the lights....who doesn't? :)
We went to this really ritzy hotel just to hang out in the lobby and look at their tree and train. The tree was ginormous! :)
The afore mentioned train. It wrapped around the whole tree. It was so much fun just to look at it all and take in every detail and to see where the designer had thrown in a little humor. Kade could have spent all day looking at that train.
The life size gingerbread house is looking yummy!! :)
We upholstered our tired out recliners. I think they turned out pretty good!
Dakota applied for Polyface's summer internship. He went to their farm to be interviewed for 2 days early December and was notified later, right before Christmas, that he was officially a Polyface intern! We are all excited for him! He's really looking forward to this upcoming summer.
Dakota and I...
Kade, our mischievous one, got the brilliant idea to cut his hair! Dad had to cut it really short to make it look ok and we all hope his curls grow back fast. :)
Quotes or saying that are in english are so funny here in Korea. Because you can totally tell something was lost in translation. :) "wants to be a tree and a ferry in a river just like a place to rest...." hum...ok! :)
Bella was getting a little rowdy and kneed herself in the mouth resulting in her tooth (which was sorta loose) to plop right out on the couch. She was freaked out for a bit then exclaimed. "yay, now I've lost 3 teeth!" :)
Posing in our Christmas Eve pajamas.
Dad took Dakota and I out for some night boarding. We had a blast!
Well, I hope you all had a good winter and holiday season. We are still in the middle of our complete utter-bitter-cold-tundra weather. It has been in the single digits all day!
Have an awesome day, week, month....whatever. :)
