Good-bye Florida!

A post by mother and daughter.

Keni-We're leaving tomorrow. We've learned a lot being here, besides the technical aspects of living in a RV. Unity, cooperation, consideration, and creativity. I've enjoyed being down here, but most definitely am looking forward to being home.

Mom-Yep, me too. Missed my kitchen with lots of countertop space and being able to move around in the bathroom. But there are always pros and cons to moving from one place to another. I will miss the beaches in FL, the shopping in Jacksonville and my life of leisure in the RV. It only takes 10 minutes to clean it from top to bottom!

Mom-When you are living in tight quarters, a bit of humor helps pass the time! :)

Keni-When cooking in a RV, you have to find every square inch you possibly can. Mom and babies cooking calzone on the table.

Mom-Everyone squished around the laptop to look at pictures together.

Mom-This is what I will miss about FL......playing outside in the sunshine in December!

Keni-I've also learned how to straighten my hair when someone else needs the bathroom. :)

Keni-When we were there, I missed being able to get to my school books without holding up the overhead cupboard with my head while pulling and shoving all my books out. I also missed my bed here at home and being able to walk around. I could stand in one spot and put all the dishes away and not have to move! I think some things I'll miss from FL would also be the leisure time, but after a while that gets a bit boring. :) I'll also miss the shopping, the close gym, and the less dishes. The bugle calls in the morning, at 5:00pm, and night time were always so charming.
Mom-The grass is always greener......but we are oh, so glad to be home!
Have a wonderful week!

cha-ching!

I love taking the babies out and taking their pictures...not so sure what they think about it though. Kade is getting used to the camera, and poses quite nicely...if he wants too. :) Bella actually likes getting all dolled up with a cute outfit and lip gloss...(what girl doesn't)..and posing. I took them out the other day, thought I'd share.

Yes, those adorable little kids are my siblings...do you want their autograph or something for being the cutest kids alive? Ah...but that's what everyone else says about their siblings. :) Tis the beauty of it all. :)
Have a great weekend...filled with awesomeness!

2 in 1 post package deal...

And I'll through in another post for only $19.95! Ok...anyway. Yesterday twas the day to give thanks to the Lord for what he's done. We did just that with my Dad's dad, mom, and little brother. Of course...we had the usual thanksgiving meal. :)

One of the best things about thanksgiving is the leftovers! You get thanksgiving for like days after. :)

Today (fri.) we all went out to the WMA's boardwalk. It was all dreamy, fairyish looking with the Spanish moss....it was neat!!

We also celebrated my birthday on thanksgiving, because Dad's going to be gone on the 27th. Dakota actually gave me my present awhile ago. He took me to a Barlowgirl and Reilly concert. It was really fun. Mom and Dad's was that they paid for half of my camera for me. Oh my.....it is so awesome to actually have something that you worked for, looked forward to, and saved for. It's awesome...I love it! By the way it's a canon rebel t1i.

(Roberts~like my gift bag?....recycle! :) )

That is a cheesy smile.....

family controversy...guess that's why they call it the "rebel". :)

Me and Dakota heading out to our concert.

Barlowgirl and us....notice Dakota's bag...they signed it for him. :)

there are a few people missing from Reilly here....You should look them up if you'd never heard of them! They are really cool.
Well...hope you guys have a good week!

Introducing Helena

Just last week another one of my sisters entered the ranks of Mommy-hood. Only one of us left now without children, but we aren't holding our breath for that last one :)
Helena Amara (silent H, pronounced Elena) was born last Tuesday and we hurried up to Coastal Georgia to see this fresh-from-the-Momma litle girl goodness. Pure sweetness! She weighed in at 8 pounds 2 ounces and has the most lovely head of black hair. Oh, and those cheeks are just kissable!
This is my youngest sister Tiffani and her darling baby girl. Tiffi looked great, not at all like she had given birth just days ago. First time Mommy.......
Kade and Auntie Jessica cuddling little Helena. He wasn't at all jealous and was only mildly interested in the little bundle. He did say "baby" which was the first time he had said that word!

Isabella loves to hold babies!

Me and Dain. This is LaDainian Karter, one of my other sister's (Ashley) little man. He and Bella are just a few months apart in age. They are great buddies and have so much fun together. Wish they were just a little closer, but 2 hours ain't so bad. He is totally cute, an absolute darling. I ask him every time we see him if he wants to come home and live with me. He always says yes, but Momma won't let him :( Dain's Daddy is serving in Iraq and won't be home for quite a long time. Please pray for his Daddy's safe return to his family.....for Dain and his Mommy while they wait for him at home.

Mommy's B-day...

As I've stated before...this is birthday season. Mom's was just last weekend, October 31. We don't celebrate Halloween, we celebrate Mom's Birthday. :) She is such a blessing to this family. She has embraced her calling as a housewife and mother to the fullest. She cares for her family and has no desire to run off and pursue an external career, but pursues her lifelong vocation of being a nurse, teacher, counselor, babysitter, janitor, home interior decorator, family historian, cosmetologist, disciplinarian, chef, human development initiator, and waitress. Quite the resume, eh? She has done an excellent job at it all and I love her dearly.

birthday girl and her hubby

The very usual, "Kade stand still, look at Daddy"..."Bella smile"..."everybody look here" pose. Including the snapping, dancing, clapping, whistling Dad behind the camera.

It sort of worked...

typical beach pose when you have your hair down :)

sweetheart

brothers...what a blessing!

"Are you taking my picture? Can't you see I have no shirt on?"

"AHHHH....I saw a shark this big!"

You've got charm like no other.

Mom and her adoring little girl

ahem....yay

"art" is the word that most bloggers use, but I prefer "awesomeness" :)

Aren't they precious!?!

forming a heart out of harden top layer of sand. It took a while....

but he finally got it.

awesomeness :)
We had a great day. Mom's are awesome!
