Journey out west part 4....Yellowstone part 2...

Part 2 of Yellowstone. I haven't much more to say...just more pictures. :)
Yellowstone is such a pretty place! God is such a magnificent creator!

“Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, which according to his abundant mercy hath begotten us again unto a lively hope by the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead,” 1 Peter 1:3

Elk....Beautiful elk!

A rainbow reflecting off the droplets..

It's no wonder that some people think that Yellowstone is just going to blow right off the map....It feels like it when you're there. Steam and boiling water everywhere. At least we're "safe" on the boardwalk. :)

It was so funny. K-man couldn't stand the steam. Parts of the walk went right through it...he did not like it at all. I love his face here. :)

Pretty waterfall

The leaves were just turning. This tree is definitely at it's peak!

"A wise son maketh a glad father...." K-man just loves to be with his Daddy! :)

So interesting the way the mineral deposits form.

Gor-ge-ous!!

Buffalo....His name shall be Bismark! :)

Sweetie babies.....
More steam pouring from the center of the earth

We talked to this man that is biking from Alaska to Argentina. He is from Holland. That's quite the journey!

End with another water picture.... :)

Journey out west part 3...Yellowstone part 1..

Yellowstone part 1 of 56. Naw, I'm just kidding. Although we have enough pictures to post about that much. :) Between me and mom, I think we have over 1200. Don't worry...I won't post them all. :)
Yellowstone was such a beautiful place. The waterfalls were just stunning And, all the wildlife was purely amazing. Not to mention, the landscape was breath taking. All the geysers and steam and boiling mud was so neat to watch and to think about it coming from under the ground.
We didn't see a bear....although we wanted to. We did see plenty of Buffalo though, and actually picnicked with them. ;)
(This post is part 1 of 2 and is of our first 2 days at Yellowstone)

Steam....just shooting from the ground! Amazing!

Buffalo, buffalo.....

Poor baby. He was just plum-tuckered out. :)

Old Faithful...

The Daisy Geyser.....(that's for you Daisy :) )

"Thar she blows!!!" (Daisy Geyser)

The view from our picnic table. A bit unnerving to be this close to the buffalo, but a creek separated us....no worries. :)

Dad with his makeshift spatula. Awesome! Love it!

Journey out west part 2...

Ahhh...Colorful Colorado! We left KY around 8:00am, drove straight through to CO and got there around 8:00am the next morning. Yes, we were quite tired! :) We also got to see some more family. My aunt had just had a baby recently, so it was good to see the new little cousin, Talia. We had fun visiting our old house and some other familiar landmarks. I just love Colorado.

The gateway to the west...

Dakota and Talia

Now you know why they call it "Colorful Colorado." What a gorgeous sunset!!

cactus, cactus....everywhere!

Big man...little man :)

Pretty Talia

Our old house...good memories!

He just adores babies!

Journey out west part 1...

The journey across the U.S begins. First stop was in Kentucky to see some family. We'll be on the road for about 2 weeks. Stopping in Colorado and Yellowstone after Kentucky, and ending in Seattle, from there we will fly to Korea.
We had a good trip. The little ones have been very good in the car. They deserve an A for awesomeness. :) In Kentucky we had a great time relaxing and chatting with our cousins. We also visited mammoth cave, the longest cave in the world.
Even though we are having fun gallivanting around the country, we really miss all of you back in Georgia. Next stop....Colorado!

Little man.

Picture of us and the Roberts hanging up in the truck. Makes me want to cry every time I look at it. We miss you guys!

We've been in the car a bit too long. Not even 1/4 of the way to Seattle yet. :)

Mammoth Cave. Such fun...

Mom and little niece "Pumpkin" :)

The first set of movers are here....

If you've ever had movers, or have ever moved, you most likely will understand what I'm talking about. The old familiar sounds of moving: tape stretching, boxes thumping, paper rustling, and permanent markers squeaking. As things start to get packed up and moved out, the house begins to echo. :)
The movers that are packing up our storage things are here today! They all seem like good packers, which is a relief. We have movers here until Wed. (Excluding the weekend)
