With our two party animals gone for the weekend, Dakota, the babies and I are holing up in the house....hoping to get out and enjoy that gorgeous 75 degree sunshine later today. But for now, Dakota is spending the day designing his business cards for his concrete business and studying Sociology for his CLEP test on Monday. And me? Between feeding Little Man, changing his tooshie, chasing him down and pulling unknown objects out of his mouth....I am scrapbooking. I just started K-Man's baby book and pages from the days when he came to our family. I don't believe in being "caught up." I would rather enjoy the creative process :) I have a quilt sitting under my desk that needs to be finished, a baby cart cover that needs to be sewn....never mind the laundry pile or dishes in the sink....my mojo is back!
Excuse my lack of cropping the photos, simply too lazy. :)

Waiting for K-Man up until he was born and for the 10 days after until he came home.......

The day we brought him home........

The hardest part about newborns, for me, is the lack of sleep....but it really is so worth it!

No scrapbook is complete without a page about my handsome firstborn!

First photo shoot with the new baby.

"I adore these 5"

Anything better than a handsome baby in your arms and a handsome husband? I think not.

Journaling: Even if the voices aren't real, they have some pretty good ideas......But, Bella, jumping off the side of the pool without your floatie, isn't such a good idea! Lucky for you, Mommy was standing by, snapping pictures. With Nikon D60 in one hand, using the other, I scooped you out after you sputtered and bobbed...but only for a second or two. Not a good idea Bella Boo. I will always remember the day I saved your life.

We spent a few weeks with Joel in FL at the lake.

Journaling: I am not a woman who wears make-up all day, lets fashion dictate my style, who does everything by the book, who is never tired. But I am strong. I am invincible. I am Mom.
